Josh Rifkin
No management, no agent, no day job, no net... No problem.
In the forefront of the new wave of musicians going it alone, Josh Rifkin embraces the "Indy" mantra "Do it yourself!"
With an acoustic guitar, a microphone, and occasionally a friend or two on stage, Josh tours the north east relentlessly. Spending two hundred plus nights a year showing the world what it means to get out there and do what you love for a living.
His voice has been compared to Steven Page (BNL), coupled with a percussive, methodical guitar style. Josh commands the stage, filling his performances with catchy, pop-friendly original songs, and his own versions of whatever cover songs strike his mood. It's not uncommon to see audience members get out of their seats and dance at Josh's Solo acoustic performances.
In his travels Josh has shared the stage with national acts The Gin Blossoms, Stephen Kellogg, Pat McGee, Chris Trapper and many more...
